Our First Frosty
Today (2.22.08) we are having a major snowstorm. I think we're up to about 4-5 inches now and it's only 1 p.m. Around 10 a.m. we all bundled up and went out to play in the snow. Abby has never made a snowman before. She was either too young or the snow was part of a Nor'easter. But today was perfect! I was determined to make a snowman. Haven't made one in probably 20 years (gosh I feel old!) but it was happening today! So here I go, five months pregnant and down on my knees in the snow rolling out a snowman. Abby was more interested in making a castle (see previous post). Her and Jason used an old plastic tub to make the castle which she promptly stepped all over (thus no picture). But me and my 2 foot tall snowman prevailed. I even dug out my "snowman kit" (thanks to Dee) and dressed Frosty all up. The funniest part of the morning was when I tried to teach Abby what a snow angel was. But it was snowing heavily and she got snow in her face and mouth. All of a sudden, she was rolled over with her face in the snow eating it up like crazy. We were like-"Is she eating the snow?!?" Oh yes, and she couldn't get enough of it. It was like one giant heaven-sent snowcone to her.

Wow...that's a lot of snow! FUN! We got snow here in Jerusalem earlier this week....maybe 1 cm if we were lucky but got admin leave from work. Yeah! Today the weather was beautiful, went for a walk after work
Well, don't be a stranger... hope to hear from you soon...
LOVE all that snow! so jealous.
that is one good looking snowman. i still have my snowman kit too, maybe i should take it to colorado with me next week since there's no change of snow here.
Yay - I'm so glad you have a blog now! Well, I wish we would at least get some snow to go along with our cold weather. That way we could have a reason to go outside.
Dennis also made a snowman for Anabel, somehow our snowman is falling over :))
