Abby isn't much of a princess type of girl. She's more into trucks and trains these days. But that doesn't stop me from raiding the $1 spot in Target for princess gear. On this rare day, she was actually getting into the whole dress up thing.
We went to our friends for their New Year's Eve Party. One of the party favors was a hat. Abby was all over that hat! Here's a cute picture of her with "my hat!" and, of course, daddy's shoes to complete the ensemble.
Another night, I was relaxing with my new People magazine (I am pregnant you know)when Abby decided to climb on up and check out the newest celeb photos and get some snuggle time in with mom.
Speaking of Target again, shortly after Christmas I stopped in to get some needed stuff. Happened to walk by the toy aisle and saw droves of people everywhere. So, Abs and I went to check it out and there were several aisles with 75% off of the toys. It was complete happy madness. We jumped right in and filled up the cart with completely unnecessary stuff. After I got home I added up my savings....I bought toys that normally totaled over $131 for only $24. Talk about a thrill! Okay...all this to say-I bought Abby a cleaning kit with the broom, dustpan, swiffer, the whole nine yards (I think I paid $2.50 for it). Now when we're cleaning, she has to help and "do it myself!" It usually boils down to her undoing our pile and us having to sweep it all over again. But she's loves being our little helper.
